Julian woke himself up this morning singing in his bed “Jesus loves me, & Jesus loves the little children” … and he’s still singing it! He’s been singing these songs for weeks now, but I pray he never loses that certainty he holds in his heart of just where his place is in the eyes of our Father.

My son is sleeping on my chest right now.. I can’t remember the last time he took a nap like this. The last time he fell asleep on my chest he was just an infant.. He’s not feeling well and he has a bad cold. Funny how even as little ones we know exactly where our comfort zones are and just what will make it better. Even if it’s just for a little while. I could go on about the parallels all day with this one, but for right now I just want to thank you Lord cause..

Got Bored watching the games yesterday...
I decided to film my son and ask him some questions!
LABOR DAY FUN!
Spending time with family whether it’s on a holiday or just any day really is a blessing. And it always puts things into perspective.. Went to visit the In Laws’ for the holiday & Julian had a blast with Grandma & Grandpa and his cousins..
A Lazy Sunday...

He only got to hold her for those brief hours and it was almost like he had known her forever.. He said “I thought that I knew, that I understood what love was. But I was wrong. She showed me in its purest form what love is. I will always be grateful for that”…

My son Julian and I have reading time together.. This morning I asked him to pick which book or quote he wanted to study.
He picked his rabbit book “Jesus Loves Me Because” We started reading through it like any other book we read together. What surprised me today & filled me with tears of joy was that my 3 yr old kept wanting to read this certain passage again and again…
“Jesus says I am his friend”
John 15: 14,17
“You are my friends if you do whatever I command. These things I command you, that you love one another.”
Praise be unto God for His molding of the hearts & minds of our children. Thank You ABBA
